The eye is the organ of sight, a nearly spherical hollow globe filled with fluids (humors). The outer layer or tunic (sclera, or white, and cornea) is fibrous and protective. The middle tunic layer (choroid, ciliary body and the iris) is vascular. The innermost layer (the retina) is nervous or sensory. The fluids in the eye are divided by the lens into the vitreous humor (behind the lens) and the aqueous humor (in front of the lens). The lens itself is flexible and suspended by ligaments which allow it to change shape to focus light on the retina, which is composed of sensory neurons.

1 ml solution contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol.

Other ingredients:

Cetrimide (as a preservative), disodium edetate, hypromellose, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, water for injections

Therapeutic Indications:

Corneregel fluid is used as supportive treatment to heal corneal and mucous membrane lesions of the eye in cases of so-called "dry eye" conditions (conjunctivitis sicca and/or keratoconjunctivitis sicca)

Dosage Instructions of Administration:

Unless otherwise prescribed and depending on the severity and intensity of complaints, instil one drop into the conjunctival sac 3 to 5 times a day or more frequently as well as at bedtime. There is no restriction to the duration of administration. You should use the preparation until your complaints improve.
