Thirty undergraduate pharmacy students from various universities in Cairo and Giza were carefully selected out of hundreds of applicants to participate in the comprehensive training program. The program was designed specifically to acquaint them with all the aspects of the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. They witnessed the lifecycle of the product beginning with
manufacturing and up to marketing and selling the product. They also received career advices and guidance from the HR department. The rotation program provided maximum exposure to different departments within Minapharm.

The internship kicked-off with a tour of the Minapharm factory including various departments such as production, R&D, and Quality Control. The interns also had the unique opportunity to visit Rhein-Minapharm, Minapharm's subsidiary and the only R&D and manufacturing biopharmaceutical facility in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East.
Marketing training sessions were conducted to provide the interns with the foundations of developing marketing plans, presentation skills, and insights into the marketing profession.

In addition, a sales training program introduced the interns with the diverse skills such as selling, negotiation, and problem-solving needed to survive and excel in the changing world of pharma.
During weekly meeting, the interns were also familiarized with Minapharm products and real-world experiences from the field.
The program was also enriched with HR sessions. The trainees were coached in interview skills, and provided with guidance and career development advice to help them define and build their careers as young professionals.
During the closing ceremony, the students received their summer training certificates, and a selected group was rewarded with gifts for their exceptional efforts.
